Raised in the Alexander Valley outside of Healdsburg, Peter Simon has long ties to the Sonoma County community. He specializes in business litigation, with an emphasis on real estate and complex business disputes. Mr. Simon has litigated and arbitrated cases up and down the state of California. He has successfully tried numerous cases in both federal and state courts (bench and jury trials) and has substantial appellate experience with extraordinary writs and state court appeals.

Mr. Simon has extensive experience involving areas of vineyards and wineries, franchises, environmental law and insurance, including bad faith. He has both defended and prosecuted class and collective actions involving a variety of topics, including ERISA, construction defects, the Fair Labor Standards Act, California wage and hour laws and unfair competition laws. One of Mr. Simon’s most valuable skills is his ability to find a way to turn a negative event into a positive opportunity for his clients. Each year, he takes on a small number of contingency cases.
