Scott Kirk Appointed to Steering Committee of Sonoma County "Innovation Council"

SANTA ROSA, CA - Shareholder C. Scott Kirk  was recently named by Sonoma County Board of Supervisors to serve on the steering committee of the Sonoma County Innovation Council, an advisory committee charged with overseeing the development of an economic strategic plan for the county.

The Innovation Council will examine the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for the region’s economy, including the unprecedented changes that are expected in several areas including workforce demographics, global competitiveness, availability of natural resources and the effects of climate change legislation, among others. The council will meet four times over the next 12 months to guide the formulation of the economic strategic plan with the help of expert consultants.
