“Steve Bleasdell is an incredibly competent attorney. His razor sharp intellect and profound compassion for his client's situation navigated me through a very difficult and draining real estate nightmare.”
– R. Wimmer
Steve Bleasdell works extensively in real estate and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on construction defect litigation, easement and boundary disputes, and real estate transaction disputes. One of his more esoteric areas of expertise involves the installation of manufactured housing on a foundation system and lien priority issues that arise when installation is done improperly. One of the cornerstones in Steve’s litigation philosophy is to know when to fight. When necessary he’ll refuse to cede even an inch, but he always remains focused on working toward an early and favorable resolution for his client. He prepares assiduously for trial with the goal of understanding the facts and the law better than the other side.
Steve’s ideal clients are businesses or individuals that have run into significant problems in the real estate industry. He prefers business-savvy clients who keep abreast of what’s going on with their litigation. He has represented a wide variety of clients, including clients in the vineyard industry, land developers, private landowners, and real estate brokers and agents.
Steve is an accomplished painter and sculptor who exhibits his work around Sonoma County. He loves to garden and is pursuing certification as a fly-fishing instructor. He spent six months traveling around the world and once worked crush at a winery. He now lives in Petaluma with his wife and two daughters.
